As you all already know deluxe size products are a blessing for people like me who are always hunting for the best options.A few months ago I came to know about Hourglass makeup.The mineral veil primerwas recommended multiple times by Wayne Goss of Goss makeup Artist channel (Youtube) and is loved by many others too.Its price is $52 and deluxe was the only way I could know if it was worth it.So needless to say I tried the deluxe size Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer a few months ago.So did it convince to buy the full size one?Read on to know

The regular readers are well aware that I have very oily skin. In fact I have the oiliest skin of all the people I know :).Anyways every summer I struggle with patchy skin,open pores,and melting makeup.So I did a few things to improve it and thanks to a few favorite products of mine I managed to get through summers without a pimple or a bad foundation day :) I wear makeup to work daily so this post included hours of research and staring at my skin :p

If you have oily skin or suffered from sensitivity to cleansers this one is for you.It takes out every last bit of makeup from your very pores and skin although squeaky clean is not dry.

My HG facewash.It works great for oily skin and acne prone skin.

Contouring is a very important part of makeup.This art can help you bring out that X factor in your face which simple makeup can not achieve.High cheek bones and a shapely forehead with a beautiful prominent chin is not only popular in west ,but even Asians favor them while looking at over all beauty aspects.When I learned to give contouring its long due importance, my eye shadow kit failed to provide me with the true rich brown required to chisel and contour face without making me look orangish.So,I got this palette by sleek.It comes in three shades:Light,Medium and Dark.I got medium.

Wait...You are not confused.This is an anti chafing gel which works as a great primer.The secret is that it has all the ingredients (silicones mostly) that are present in SMASHBOX face primer.The smashbox primer being high end has extra ingredients for skin care and fragrance.

Got these from Rahat departmental store in PKR 1100.They had a deal going on the pair of shampoo and conditioner.You can also get it from metro.However,the duo might have run outta stock by now.

Every girl loves dewy skin with a pretty glow.Well for us oilies the glow turns into a horrible greasy nightmare so we have to settle for matte foundations with satin finish.For some occasions when I feel the need of a little glamour I go for highlighters.Gold and Silver High lighters look so lovely when used sparingly and when they don't highlight your pores.Today I have a multipurpose product which when used judiciously adds a touch of glam and shine to the whole look.

Summers are here in full blaze.While everyone is deciding and stocking upon sunscreens and mattifying lotions,my worry has taken a little different direction...The right lip color.Yeah you heard me right.I just can not find the right color for these days.Glosses,while looking natural and fresh can look horrible with melting makeup.

So on a job like mine,(where I get to sneak a peek in the wash room mirror only once a day) I do need a lipstick which is affordable(so I don't feel guilty using it daily),has good stay time and of course has a pretty color which doesn't make me look washed out or TANNED.Most importantly the color should not be so loud that it becomes ugly or too hot to look at.You see how tough it is to come by this one :( .

FA PINK PASSION DEODRANT ROLL ON

Summers are here and so is sweat and sometimes smell...eeeww.We all face this problem in the heat and humidity of Pakistan.Perfumes do make you smell fresh and clean,but do not solve the problem in the most sweaty area....underarms.Antiperspirants and deos are a better solution.Deodrants just make you smell nice,but antiperspirants reduce the sweat production too(perspiration means sweating).My personal preference are Deos,because they do not interfere with natural sweat production.Deos come in sprays and roll on.I used to favour sprays more,but with the passage of time I realized that roll-ons last longer and as they are applied in the armpit directly they are more effective at controlling smell.(I discovered this in pregnancy when I used to sweat like a hosepipe...lolz).So,I try new brands in roll on Deos every year.Today I am going to share one which has NEVER disappointed me.

Got this for PKR 120 from my local departmental store.

FA PINK PASSION DEODRANT ROLL ON

The roll on is extremely easy to use .I use it over my clothes sometimes (when I am feeling quirky about chemicals in my armpits ....lolz).

The scent is very floral and fresh.Although it is a strong scent.it still is very feminine.I feel very clean and rejuvenated after using this roll on.The name pink passion does full justice to the product and the scent.

It stays on a very sweaty person like me for 4-5 hours.A stay time of 5 hours in my under arms is nothing short of a miracle trust me lolz.When I am wearing this one I am confidant that I can raise my arms no matter how much I perspire.

The size of bottle is a big plus and you can carry it anywhere for the necessary re-applications.

LUSCIOUS LIP COUTURE In SCANDAL and ENVOGUE

These days lip creams or lip paints are very in.These look almost like glosses but have thicker
texture and opaque finish like lipsticks.I have so many of them in my wishlist.A few by
Luscious too.Word is that Luscious has the greatest range of lip glosses.Such lovely
colors,such great formulas that I just want to own all of them.Well,I have got two for review
today.

Clear I never thought I would buy it.Although the packaging was very eye catching I didn't

think they were my type.So,I steered clear of them.

However,on my recent visit to departmental store I saw the yellow Clean n Clear face wash for

CATRICE GEL EYELINER In BLACK JACK WITH JACK BLACK

Eyeliners are my favorite makeup product.I never even leave my the room without wearing eyeliner :-D

I use all variety of eyeliners from Liquid to eye pencils.My absolute favorite finish in eyeliner is intense black,matte looking liner which stays put and doesn't smudge.I found out that gel liners can achieve this look.

Gel eyeliners are creating such a sensation all around the fashion world that I just had to get one. Maybelline studio Drama Gel eye liner was the only gel liner available in the local market, but it was for PKR 1250.So,I waited for a cheaper alternative.When I heard about Catirce Gel eyeliner,I thought I must give it a try.So,how was my experience with it.Read more to find out.

LABELLO LIP BALM IN CHERRY

I have an annoying problem of chapped lips.Be it summers or winters I have flakes on my lips.May be because I don't drink enough water and consume a lot of tea.Anyways,this flaky problem keeps me in search of a good lip balm. However, lip balms have there own problems like no color at all or sheer tint.I mean there are people with two toned lips,not all of us have pretty pink lips..**huff**.So,I searched and searched for a lip balm which would give me some color on my lips without compromising on moisturizing properties.Let's see if my latest find could satisfy all these requirements.
