Hello and asslamo-allaikum all,
Today I will review a product which has made it into the wishlist of so many girls, but price is what has been keeping them from buying it.So,is it any good?Is it well worth the price or just another ordinary product?
Let's read more about...
HELLO GLOW WHITENING PLUS FACIAL POLISH
The product is worth 9.99 pounds but I got it for PKR 1500 from www.just4girls.pk
Here is what ROSE LINK say about Hello glow polish:
A luxurious hand blended silky powder, that glides over skin to whiten and brighten the complexion instantly.
What's in it?
100% natural combination of coconut milk powder, potato starch, milk, honey, rice and essential oils
How does it work?
Coconut milk contains natural silicones to create a very superior skin moisturiser. Combined with potato starch, which is a substantial source of Vitamin C, this product provides an amazingly natural bleaching effect. Honey acts as a natural humectant, attracting moisture to leave skin smooth and glowing.
How do I use it?
Pour onto wet hands, rub palms together to create a smooth paste, gently massage onto skin for 20 seconds and rinse off with cold water to reveal a radiant complexion. Use twice a day for optimum results
The polish comes in a 100ml bottle.
Just so you can an idea of the real size :) |
I love the smell. It gives a delicious, sweet smell of honey.Well, for some it might be a little bothersome but,for me,it just re-reinforces the fact that I am using something organic.
The product is actually a fine ground powder. The feel is like rice powder. You can even smell the rice powder when you start rubbing the skin polish over face. The polish is all herbal and natural. It doesn't have side effects and is GREEN.This point alone is a big plus for me.
As per directions,I take a little amount of powder in my hand and rub it over face for 30 seconds. Then,I rinse it off.It leaves my skin soft and cleansed.NO oily residue or greasy feeling at all.In fact I don't wash my face after using it at night although I have very very oily and acne prone skin.
Night after night I find myself reaching for it because, it gives my skin a glow and evenness in 30 seconds only.I have observed that I get better results when I sleep without washing my face after rinsing it.
Does it work?Yes,It works.Makes skin bright and radiant. The effects may not be very long lasting though.I ,mean, after two to three days of discontinued use you are back to normal.I understand that this one is an all herbal product so mildness is to be expected.
The brightening,complexion-improving is lovely. The glow is there and you feel the improvement, not VERY stark, but there. It will give a glow to your skin and will improve the complexion to one shade fairer. It is great but not a miracle worker of course.
I use it in place of my normal scrub because,I like the texture and the instant brightening effect.
It doesn't break me out at all.Which is a major plus for my acne prone skin.
It is moisturizing, but not very much in cold season. In the harsh winters,I always have to use a little moisturizer afterwards.
Price is the biggest downside. For PKR 1500 all your are getting is 100 ml of rice powder and stuff mixed together.
In conclusion,I can say that this polish is very organic and effective. You can use it daily and avoid the oily residue and the yellowing effect of home made whitening masks. It has a life of 6month after opening the bottle, which is a plus point as compared to ubtan or homemade.

DeleteYou are right, You can make a skin polish at home better then it.
ReplyDeleteofcourse.but the shelf life would be a week at most :( bt still i will try
Deletethe ingredients are so simple. instead of potato starch one can use corn starch..easy to make at home for Rs250-300!
ReplyDeletepotato starch can be obtained by grinding dried potatoe slice.will try definitly if that didnt work i will go for corn starch.
Deletejust ordered the trial 30 ml bottle, to determine if its worthy to be bought at full size.
ReplyDeletedo share ur experience :)
DeleteWhile reading this all I was thinking about was to make it at home and you mentioned that in the end :D do let us know if you try :) x
