Today I have a very healthy and very easy recipe to share with you girls.It is very easy
to make, ingredients are easily available in every kitchen and it is finger licking good.
Try it at home and you will agree with me.Kids will love it.
STEAMED MASALA CHICKEN
INGREDIANTS:
1)-Chicken 1 kg (cut according to your liking)
2)-Onion 1 medium sized
3)-Green chili 2 crushed
4)-Turmeric 1 teaspoon
5)-Red Chili 1 teaspoon
6)-Black Pepper 1 teaspoon
7)-Chinese salt To taste
8)-Salt 1 teaspoon
9)-Yogurt 1 cup
METHOD:
1)-Wash the chicken with half cup vinegar and a teaspoon salt.This will ensure that no
smell is left in the meat.
2)-Now mix all the ingredients other than chicken and put them in a grinder. Grind for
one pulse.
3)-Now take chicken in a bowl and rub the mixture from step 2 on it.
4)-Leave for an hour.
5)-Take a pressure cooker.Pour 2 cup water in it.Add slices of 1 lemon and some
fennel seeds for aroma.
6)-Take a steel or a glass bowl and invert it in the cooker as shown.
7)-Take a flour sieve that is easily available.It is present in almost every kitchen.Put it
on top of bowl.
Place the chicken and pour any marinade left over on it.
You can also take the specially made sieves for this purpose.They have handles to
fit on the cooker's edges.
