JUST GOLD DIAMOND GLITTER EYESHADOW PALETTE

This weekend when I went for "some more" makeup shopping to POTPOURRI, Fortress Stadium,Lahore,I observed two things.Number one is that they have greatly improved their cosmetic section.Very helpful sales persons.None of those snotty,uptight sales girls,to my relief :) .Second thing was an eyeshadow palette selling like hot cakes.It was like whenever the salesmen took it out,it was gone in a jiffy.So,I bought one for myself,(God knows I didn't need it but... **shameless grin**).

It cost me PKR 525 only :) .

I really like the packaging.Its very travel friendly and sleek.As you can see the palette has all the colors suitable for a formal or a night time look.The colors are all shimmery.They contain fine glitter too.It has a faint scent of talc, which I didn't like much.

All the colors are velvety.The colors (row 1 and three)are very pigmented.I really like the pay off of the last row especially the red shadow.My favorite colors  are teal,yellow,blue,silver and gold.

Now the bad part.You can easily pick colors with a sponge applicator,but with brush one faces some difficulty.The eyeshadows have so much fallout that it is unbelievable and disappointing. 

When doing the eye makeup for this post,I had to use a powder brush to dust off fallen colors a lot,which  was very annoying.The colors from row in the middle(2) are very sheer.You have to work a lot to  build them up.

About the staying power...Without the primer,these shadows just fade away with the slightest 

touch.However,to my extreme amazement,with a primer the color enhancement and staying power increased dramatically and application became easier.So,I would  strongly recommend using a primer under this one.

RECOMMENDED:

If you are on a budget and need a glitter eye shadow palette.

You don't mind using an eye shadow primer as a mandatory product in eye makeup.
