LUSCIOUS LIP COUTURE In SCANDAL and ENVOGUE

These days lip creams or lip paints are very in.These look almost like glosses but have thicker 
texture and opaque finish like lipsticks.I have so many of them in my wishlist.A few by 
Luscious too.Word is that Luscious has  the greatest range of lip glosses.Such lovely 
colors,such great formulas that I just want to own all of them.Well,I have got two for review 
today.

Well,I seriously love them.I love everything from color and texture to finish.Lets break down 
and go in the details of the reason of my love for these beauties.

First of all,I really like the scent.Its the sweet,toffee like scent which I find absolutely yummy.Some may not like it,but the good news is that it somewhat lightens after a while.The applicator is an everyday doe foot applicator,which ensures good and even coating of the lip cream.It just smoothly glides over my lips,covering any flaws or cracks.I apply it after shaping my lips with a lip liner,because with lip creams you have to work a little carefully to define the lips.Otherwise the product might feather a little and look untidy.The product is a little sticky and thick which ensures that it stays on the lips for a longer time and doesn't feather crazily like gloss.

I love the opacity of this baby.One swipe and you get full color translated on your lips.Its comparable with lipsticks where opacity and thickness of formula is concerned.The finish is very creamy and lustrous.Its almost like you are wearing a creamy lipstick topped over by a gloss.(I am so happy I came up with this example).

It stays on lips for 4-5 hours which is great.In my line of work I have to speak a lot.So,when I came back from work I was surprised to notice that it was still on my lips.With eating and drinking it loses its shine and vibrancy although the color is somewhat there.So,you have to reapply after a meal.(I prefer to take my lipstick off before eating and drinking to avoid ingestion of chemicals).It leaves the lips beautifully soft and moisturized.Even when the color has faded(it fades evenly),lips retain a little color which looks very natural and healthy,I think. 

I don't know why they are shinning like they have shimmer.Maybe the sunlight is doing this.

The shade scandal is a brilliant red.Very vibrant.Gives my face a beautiful pop.Envogue is a coral pink color.Normally,coral pink makes me look dull,but this one works great for my complexion(which is a little uneven).As I have said before(countless times),Luscious lip products work great for medium,Asian complexions.The colors which don't work for you in other brands will work great in Luscious.I have a mind of trying other colors in it.Click here to check other colors.(Such pretty names they have).

RECOMMENDED:

Totally.If you want a moisturizing lip cream which has a good color range its hard to find a better bargain then luscious lip couture.

RATING:
