WET N WILD MEGA LAST LIPSTICK In 910D RED VELVET

Winters are leaving.While the spring is making me happy,I have started thinking about the scorching heat already...eeeee. Well, its all a part of life so I am trying to act like a blogger and have started looking for products that will make me get through summers beautifully.I mean that literally.As I am more into halal and vegan products my quest gets difficult with each product category.I published the vegan friendly product list by different brands in an old post.Read here.Some Wet n wild products were vegan friendly so I gave their mega last lipstick a go.

This is a lip product which is very suitable for summers.So how was it?Would I add it to My favorites?Lets see...

I got this one from The Beauty Hub in PKR 450.This was the lowest price being offered.I seriously love the Beauty Hub.They offer such reasonable prices and the owner has a lovely,helping attitude as well. <3.

About the lipstick now.The packaging is average.A simple plastic tube with a transparent cap.Too drugstore for me.The lipstick bullet has a slightly different shape,though, which I find interesting.

The lipstick is a true matte one.Its creamy-ish, goes on smoothly over lips and settles into a matte finish.In winters I found that it took some warming up to apply perfectly.Like I had to swipe it twice,during which it warmed up, to get the color on my lips.

Now the lovely,most amazing fact...it does last a long,long time.My experience is 5-6 hours.During all this time,I ate,drank,smacked my lips, but it stayed fresh.I am a terrible with lipsticks.I just lick them off in an hour.But it lasted on my lips longer then any lip product ever.So,thumbs up for that.After 5-6 hours it starts losing the vibrance and fades evenly afterwards.Maybe the color I own has something to do with the longevity.So I will have to buy more shades :P(another reason to shop.I feel like singing ^_^ ).

I own the color "Red Velvet".It is beautiful blue based red.A perfect "Crimson",the first in my stash.In sunlight it looks more crimson then in indoor lights.I simply love it.

GOOD POINTS:

1)-Affordable.

2)-Great color choice.

3)-Matte finish.

4)-Does not feather or bleed.Great formula.

5)-Lasts long time.(5-6hours atleast).

6)-Easily available.

7)-Vegan Friendly.

BAD POINTS:

1)-Matte formula might be a little drying in winters.

2)-May highlight flakes if you are not careful with scrubbing and moisturizing lips.

RATING:

Here is how it looks on me.I am wearing one layer,but it can be build up of course.

I like it so much that I posted my "un-photoshopped-no-foundation-just- concealer" photo with it for the first time.
