WET n WILD COLOR ICON EYE SHADOW TRIO IN SPOILED BRAT

I love eye makeup.My absolute,all time favorite is the smokey eyes.Especially with glitter ^_^ So,I bought this palette to achieve the glittery look.

MY STORY BEHIND THIS PALETTE:

Recently,I have developed a mad love for Sugar pill Eye shadow Chrome lust Stella.The glittery black  eye makeup you see on pinterest is Stella,nine out of ten times.

It is such a great color..But,the bad part is that it's pricey,like 13$ for a single shade.

So,I did what I normally do...search for a dupe.(The closest match is Zeitgeist  by Illamasqua). Anyways,the purpose of sharing all this is that while searching for a rich black eye shadow,I landed on this eye shadow trio by Wet n wild.

Now,as we all know and agree,wet n wild has amazing cosmetic range which is very affordable too.This eye shadow trio has got good reviews from many bloggers.Its price is 6$.Normally, Facebook pages are selling it for 800-900 but at just4girls it was only 600 PKR (equivalent to its price in dollars).So,I immediately ordered it.It is not a dupe of Stella at all,but still I liked it and couldn't resist.You can find it here.

I love the packaging.It's very travel friendly.This trio has three great and usable colors.You can create black smokey eyes or an eye makeup look using a blend of pink and silver alone or a pink and black blend for a formal look.I have used the pink as a blusher too.The silver color can be used to highlight facial areas  other then brows.

The color pay off is good.However,I felt that you do need to build the colors a bit,especially the black shadow.It will come off as a faded black on first application,but can be built up for a pigmented black.The eye shadows work great over a primer.

The  texture is soft.I didn't find them chalky or rough at all. Even though black has glitter,it is not gritty.I didn't experience much fall outs. This is why I like this trio.It enables you to achieve a subtle,formal look in a neat fashion.

The staying power is just fine.I have worn them for 3-4 hours,so can't claim for more then that.The colors stay much longer  over a primer.

Overall,I think this trio is pretty good.Wet n wild has introduced other color combinations in this product(walking on eggshells,I'm feeling retro),but only this one has good color pay off,so I hear.Here are other Wet n Wild products on just4girls.
