Fried chicken is everyone's favorite.(Of course not the weight watchers). What if you could find a recipe which would enable you to make tasty, fried chicken at home.I bet this one can save a lot for many mommies. The total time this recipe takes is the frying time. You can prepare it beforehand if you are expecting guests. Then just toss the boiled chicken in hot oil and nothing can go wrong with this one :)
This is an years old recipe of my mom.Its sort of her signature dish. When guests are arriving and we have a short notice, this one is the most trusted recipe. It is a life saver and a face saver(izzat bachau type).
Its weekend and I thought it was a great time to try this one :)
You can use 1kg wings or mixed chicken pieces too.
2)-Ginger garlic paste 1teaspoon
3)-Onion 1 medium
4)-Yogurt 1cup
5)-Red chilli 1teaspoon
6)-salt to taste
Mix everything except onion and rub on chicken.NOw put the chicken along with marinate in a pot on stove.Throw in the onion.Add just 3-4cups water (or enough to cover the chicken).Let boil until chicken in done.
Egg medium 1
Chedder cheese half cup.
(You can take slices and tear it into pieces)
Red chilli 1teapsoon.
Salt To taste
Milk 1/2cup
Mix cheese, cornflour, egg and spices in a bowl. This will turn into a gooey mixture.Add a little milk to thin out the mixture. The batter should be thick enough to stick to the chicken well.A thin mixture will result in less adherence to the chicken piece and ofcourse the results will not be as tasty.
Now,take the boiled chicken.Make sure its not hot and just out of the boiling pot.Batter sticks better to cool chicken. Now roll the chicken piece in batter.Turn well to make sure batter sticks to all side.Heat the oil in a wok.Toss in the chicken.Let fry until golden brown.
Hope you like the post.Do try this at home.
