NAIL ART

Nail art is so much in trend these days.Everyone loves it,even the ones like me who are not very good at it.So much stuff related to nail art is available now, which makes it a little easier for us novices.The most helpful among all is NAIL ART KIT.It comes with a number of brushes,each with its own little purpose.Lets review a nail art brush kit today and see the purpose of each type of brush.

The kit comes in a handy transparent pouch.The standard large size kit has 15 brushes.

FLAT BRUSHES:

These are used to apply nail paint to large area of nails.They can also be used to paint the nails with base and top coat.Different sizes make it easy to choose the right one for the design.

LONG POINTED BRUSHES:

These are used to do the fine lines.The long tips help create loose designs and patterns, which need a light hand.For example creating streaks in the paint or making feathers.

FAN BRUSHES:

These are used to make waves and multiple lines.Below is the photo of a design I created using only this brush.

FINE TIP BRUSHES:

These are used to make shapes and detailed art.You can make animal faces(see below),neat margins and line.These are the most difficult to master, because a small shake of hand and you end up with an ugly design.

DOTTING TOOL:

It is used to make dots and flowers.

I find this whole kit very very useful.These are easy to keep,easy to clean.There isn't a design you can not create with this kit.Whenever I am in the mood,I just take out my nail colors and this kit and start working.I did some pretty good designs with it although,as I mentioned before, I am a total newbie with this and it is NOT my time to start learning with kids running around.

The brushes reduce the time I have to spend at my nails and still have great nail designs for free :).

THE GREEN MANI

Using Fan brushes.

RALLI MANI:

Ralli is basically a local sindhi quilt made by patching up clothes of different shapes and sizes.(not unlike the patchwork quilts).I love the unique ralli designs.They just show how creative and talented our village woman are.Ralli is very colorful,like sindhi culture,so I have used plenty of colors.

FRENCH FLORAL MANI:

Done using flat brushes and long tip brushes and dotting tool.

Now comes the final piece I did using Flocking powder:

SUNFLOWER MANI:

Fine tip brush,flosking powder,flat brush and long tip bush.

Here is what flocking powder looks like.Its pretty easy to use.Just apply base coat,db on some powder and blow away the rest.The area where you applied base coat will retain it giving it a carpet like finish.
