ST IVES MOISTURZING OLIVE SCRUB

Hello my beauties,

Today's post is on a scrub...again :D In this environment full of pollution and dust,  one just can not stress enough, the importance of scrubbing and exfoliating for a healthy skin. However, doing it right is even more important then doing it in routine. If you rub the wrong way or if you are rubbing hard your skin can get damaged.A very gentle, circular motion can do wonders for your complexion. So,I have brought for your kind consideration another scrub from the house of St Ives....Olive Scrub.(Read more posts on St Ives here.)

ST IVES MOISTURZING OLIVE SCRUB

ST IVES MOISTURZING OLIVE SCRUB

I bought this scrub from Rahat Deptt store cantt. Price PKR 390.

I have been using it for quite a few months and since winters are here and this scrub has seen both summers and winters with me,it is about time I review it.So,here goes.

Packaging gets good points as always.St Ives is a particular favorite of mine for being Vegan and ECO friendly.I really love the scrubs by them. This one is a squeeze tube with a flip open top.The outlet is very small so you might have to squeeze the tube hard to get small amount of scrub out.

Scent is very faint. You get whiffs of natural olive oil.I like this part the most.It makes you feel like you are using something natural.

The scrub itself has tiny, rounded synthetic beads. They do a pretty good job of scrubbing without being very harsh or abrasive. The scrubbing comes nowhere near APRICOT variant of the scrub, but it is good for days you want gentle exfoliation.

It creamy, but washes away easily leaving skin hydrated. The base is not as creamy as st ives apricot scrub.

Overall, its a pretty good scrub for dry to normal skin.Girls with oily skin will like it for winters as it gives necessary exfoliation without drying out.

GOOD POINTS:

1)-Gentle but effective.
2)-Leaves skin moisturized.
3)-Vegan and Eco friendly
4)-Great for dry skin and normal skin.
5)-Good for daily use.

BAD POINTS:

1)-It  is not effective enough. You may need some heavy duty scrub or polish to supplement, at least once a week especially if you have blackheads.

2)-It might not be a great option for girls with oily skin in summers.

RATING:
