SUNSILK HAIR MASK

Hi all,

Well after a long lecture from my sister on how I should do more posts on departmental store brands in Pakistan,I am here with a review. This is a hair mask by Sunsilk I got an year back, but never reviewed. You all must have seen sunsilk hair masks flooding the shelves in all stores. So lets see if these are a hit or a miss.

SUNSILK HAIR MASK

This hair mask is specially designed to reduce hair fall resulting from dryness and breakage.I got it from Rahat Departmental store in PKR 350(approx).

The jar is average 300 ml size.Product has to be scooped out  for use.It has a faint scent, just like an average sunsilk shampoo.

Application involves applying a dollop(or as required) on hair thoroughly. Then leave it for fifteen minutes and wash with shampoo. It can be used in small quantity as a leave-in conditioner.

I have used it for quite sometime and like it.It is not the best hair mask and does not promise tons of things, but it does make hair smooth, soft and silky.

I like the ease of use.I just apply it right before taking a shower and while I scrub and brush it works its thing. Then shampoo and a simple rinse off and my hair feel like silk.

A simple TIP that improves the performance of every hair mask and treatment is HOT TOWELS.Take two small towels.Dip one in hot water and wrap around your head. When it becomes cooler wrap the other one.Fifteen minutes of that and your hair will be salon quality silky.

I have easy to manage hair, like the wash and wear type :p .So,a little attention in form of this mask makes my hair so smooth that I love to touch my hair again and again.

So,if you are on a budget I would totally recommend it.

GOOD POINTS:

1)-Affordable.

2)-Easily available

3)-Effective.Makes hair soft.

4)-Easy to use.

BAD POINTS:

1)-Might not work for damaged hair.

2)-Does not control hair fall.

RATING:

I would have posted before/after shots, but there was nothing much to show in photos.I hope you all like the review.Which one is your favorite hair mask? What works best for damaged hair in your opinion?

Stay blessed and pretty

  8. Shehrzad, I used this like 4-5 years ago. It was conditioner-like. I agree, didn't do anything to my hairfall. I will try the hot towel thing the next time I try a reconstruction mask. Thanks for sharing!

  12. My programmer is trying to persuade me to move to
.net from PHP. I have always disliked the
idea because of the expenses. But he's tryiong none the less.
I've been using WordPress on a number of websites for about a year and am worried about switching to
another platform. I have heard fantastic things about blogengine.net.
Is there a way I can import all my wordpress
posts into it? Any kind of help would be really appreciated!
