Hello my pretty peaches ^_^
I am a mom and my skin is thirsty. There I said it :p I almost never have enough energy to slather tons of moisturizer and massage.I sometimes most of the times have to ignore my dry feet etc because the time and care required to replenish the lost moisture is difficult for me at times. So when I come by a good moisturizer I love sharing it with other mums out there.
Today the moisturizer I am reviewing is a bit special.I used it 7 years ago.It was a gift back then.I loved it instantly.Overtime I used it and moved on to newer, costlier and high end ones.In the recent body Shop sale I got it again. So did it impress me all over or did it fail to live up to my new and improved standards?Read to know...
I got the lotion in PKR 745 from the sale.It was on 70% off.
I don't even need to start on how much I love the Neroli Jasmine range. The mild floral fragrance reminds me of a pleasant summer night.
The moisturizer is an instant love. The fragrance might be a little strong for delicate noses, but it fades after sometime. However, the essence of it lingers.
The lotion is very light and hydrating. It quenches skin thirst like heavy duty moisturizers, but minus the grease and stickiness. It never feels heavy on skin.So the girls who hate heavy feeling of moisturizers will love this one.
My little trick is to mix a dollop of glycerin in this lotion at night and massage on hands and feet. The next day my skin is baby soft.I have a problem of blackish spots on finger joints and with this moisturizer I have seen them visibly recede.
The best thing about the moisturizing effect is that it stays after washing hands too. Also my skin handles a few days of sloth much better when I am using this lotion.
RATING:
NEROLI JASMINE EAU DE TOILETTE
Now for the scent. It comes in large size too. However ,I prefer the deluxe or travel size. This is my third time repurchase and I am addicted to it.
I got it for PKR 600.That was last year.
The scent is actually Eua de Toilett meaning that the fragrance strength is less then a perfume.
I got it for PKR 600.That was last year.

ReplyDeletewell they are cruelty free and they use only resourceable ingredients so for now I would believe it is ok to use until I get some documented proof :)
