OVER THE COUNTER TREATMENTS AVAILABLE FOR ACNE IN PAKISTAN:

as a teenager there were days when I would get up and wouldn't want to look my self in
the mirror.reason…acne.I have a very oily skin and suffered from acne since I was13.

It took me  a total of 9years to become completely free of acne but I still have to take some steps to keep it at bay.

In my battle against acne I tried many product.Today I have decided to share some of the effective ones with you.

Brevoxyl 4%:

got this pic from google images since i dont have it n dont need to use it anymore :-)

This cream was the answer to my prayers.I had severe acne.Wanted a miracle. This cream was it.

When I first used it on recommendation of my doc I didn’t really like it ,so I stopped.

Then I came across a website about treatment of acne and from there I came to know

the actual way of using it.The remaining  problem was that recommended concentration

of benzoyl peroxide(BP) is 2% ,and all I could find in Pakistan was 10%.

Neutrogena on the spot was 2% but costly .Then I came across this 4%cream based

BP.After almost 6 months of use, my acne disappeared completely and thank God now

I am acne free, except for an occasional zit.Bacteria never develop resistance against

BP so in other words its stays effective.

you can find the link of website helping people with acne here

A little info on benzoyl peroxide:

It is to this date the most effective treatment of acne. it not only kills propiono acne

bacteria but also improves the rate of cell turn over so, that dead cells are shed more

 easily.

It takes from one week to ten days to become effective.

Also it works better if you start with a smaller amount(pea size for a side of face) and

increase it  a little  every day.

This way your skin adjust easily to benzoyl peroxide and all the side effect like peeling

redness and sensitivity to sun are avoided.

Wearing a sunscreen is mandatory while using BP along with lots of moisturizer.

Use twice daily after washing face with Neutrogena foaming facial cleanser...wait until

face is dry then apply BP...rub in.

Wait for 15 minutes .you can do your work in the mean time.

Now apply moisturizer.re-apply if you feel dry.and you are good to go.do the same at

night.

It is time consuming but trust me you will get your beautiful skin back

Neutrogena on the spot treatment:

Contains 2%benzoyl peroxide in cream medium.

It is quite effective, but over night disappearance of zit is not its specialty.

Among all the formulations of benzoyl peroxide available in market this one is the best

,in terms of effectively and reduced side effects. However, it is pricey.

I used to buy it almost five years ago and the price was 450PKR for a small tube of

0.75oz.its price is 5.99 dollars nowadays(convert in rupees).

it is the best concentration and preparation of BP available in the market

Clina gel:

Active ingredient is clindamycin. Antibacterial agent.

The best thing about this drug is that it comes in gel form.

You don’t have to rub it, just apply over the pimple.

It’s a transparent gel so you can wear it under your makeup as well.

It takes about three days to completely eliminate a zit.

It is really effective for a pimple here and there, but for acne involving larger areas of

face or severe intensity, it sorts of loses the effectively.

Duac once daily gel:

Active ingredient is benzyl peroxide and clindamycin phosphate.

It has a dual action it treats the acne and improves the appearance of skin.

Its once daily application so very easy to use.

VERY EFFECTIVE. I highly recommend it.

I just love the way it makes the pimple magically go away. even for severe acne it

works.

Best spot treatment in the market

  5. I believe everything posted was very reasonable. But,
what about this? suppose you added a little content?
I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your website,
however what if you added something that grabbed people's attention? I mean "OVER THE COUNTER TREATMENTS AVAILABLE FOR ACNE IN PAKISTAN:" is kinda plain. You might glance at Yahoo's front page and watch how they write
news titles to grab viewers interested. You might add a related video or a
related picture or two to get people excited about what you've got
to say. In my opinion, it might bring your posts a little bit more interesting.

    1. Mahi sorry for late reply. It seems like you have sensitive skin. You should try a mask of green clay or betonite 3 times per week.Take it off after fifteen minutes before it completely dries off.use a good toner with witch hazel afterwards. Also try tomato juice on your skin.Apply it for ten minutes and wash face afterwards. You can mix in equal parts cucumber juice is tomato juice feels too harsh.
Change your existing moisturizer to something non comedogenic preferably water based.I hope this solves the problem.

    1. Hi Muzammil,
You should always be vigilant with moisturizer when on BPtreatment.Try clean and clear non comedogenic moisturizer. Its a basic simple one.Apply it day and night and reapply after sweating or swimming or exercising.Watch video on acne.org for more instructions.
Always wear sunscreen before going out.
Be persistent.Acne can take sometime in responding but you will see results.Good luck
