Ladies,today the post is on a very cute pink lipstick I absolutely love.
RIMMEL LASTING FINISH LIPSTICK In 070 AIRY FAIRY
Before using this shade of pink,I used to stay away from pink lippies.I have medium complexion which might appear a little uneven ,so I never ever bought a pink lipstick and if ever I did, regretted it instantly.
I used to look longingly at fair girls who could carry the pink shade so well.
Well, this shade of Rimmel lasting finish line appeared so cute in picture that I ordered it online.(throwing caution to wind).
I really wanted to give a chance because Pink is THE lip color nowadays.
The lipstick has a nice packaging.Not the flimsy kind at all.
The scent of this lipstick is lovely.I just like it so much.very sweet,mild and fragrant.
The lipstick is very creamy and gives a semi matte glossy finish.It accentuates the imperfections on lips.so, I would advise scrubbing your lips gently to remove flakes.
The color pay off is very good.Excellent pink color(with a hint of peach) on application.
As for the lasting finish...well it really isn't.It stays for a maximum of 3 hours without eating and drinking.
Still,I totally love it.Apply it on daily basis after applying lip liner.Wearing it with lip liner increases the longevity greatly.It also helps avoid the dead look of lips that is so bound to some with pale pink lippies.
It is a great dupe for MAC Viva Glam V.It is sometimes called a dupe for MAC Angel
UPDATE:This lipstick has been discontinued according to some blogs,so a close dupe is Rimmel kate moss in #14.
