St IVES NATURALLY CLEAR APRICOT CLEANSER

St Ives is a great brand.It offers quality skin care in very affordable prices.The st Ives apricot 

scrub is my HG scrub.I bought St Ives Cleanser recently just to see if it was as good as the 

scrub.

Got it from Rahat Departmental Store in PKR 315.

DIRECTION FOR USE:

"Moisten face,dispense the cleanser on hand.Massage gently over face.Rinse with

water.Avoid contact with eyes."

REVIEW:

The cleanser comes in a big tube-bottle with flip open top.The product is a pinkish cream with 

small red beads.It faintly smells of apricot.At first,I couldn't decide if it was meant to be used 

as a cream cleanser only,or if it was a face wash as well.So,I just took a liberal amount and 

rubbed it on my face.To my disappointment,the delicious smell of apricot turned into a faint 

smell of burnt plastic.You know like it smelt apricot at first,but then on smelling more closely 

there was this horrible smell-confusion.So,for the first time I hate a product's smell

(normally  I am not bothered with most scents/fragrances).

The beads just gave a little scrubbing action.The cleanser suddenly lost its slipperiness.It was 

like I didn't take enough(which wasn't the case).So,I tried to rinse it off.It didn't rinse off 

satisfactorily.I could feel it on my skin.I had to use a face towel to get it off completely.

Cleansing power is just OK.Nothing extraordinary.It will remove light makeup but you will 

have to cleanse twice and remove with a lofah sponge or cotton.I don't think it will

work with heavy,cream foundations.

In my opinion,this one is just another cleanser in the market.You can get better cleansers in 

this price.Not for oilies at all.

St Ives do not test on animals and they do not use animal ingredients. So,you can use them 

with  ease of mind.

RECOMMEDED:

If you want to try this one along with the scrub for At-home facial.But I don't recommend it at 

all.
