Winters can be a trying time for skin.The dryness induced by cold ,harsh climate brings along a very unwelcome companion...DULL skin.Every girl from teens to... well,to the day she dies :P hates dull skin.It makes skin look coarse and old.I have a skin which was battle ground of acne and medication for quite sometime, so dullness has always been a problem for me.This season I decided to upgrade my skin care arsenal with some anti oxidants to fight off the dullness.

Anti oxidants are basically meant to reduce or eliminate the damaging effect of free radicals to our skin.Free radicals are unstable compounds missing an electron.They attack the cells to complete the structure and start a chain reaction of damage,cell death and even changes at level of DNA.They are an identified cause of aging in skin.All the pollution and chemicals around us have increased our exposure to them.Our body has defenses against these buggers,but with time the defenses get over whelmed and result is continuous damage.SO,the best way to combat them is Anti oxidants like Vitamin C,vitamin E,,vitamin A, Flavinoids(For example epicatechin 3-gallate found in green tea), and beta carotene.

Now,its very important to incorporate foods rich in antioxidants in our diet to get maximum benefit.However,if you can get in your skin care, I say grab them too :D

Ok,the polisher is basically meant to be used like a face wash.It has a liquid soap-y feel and has these small orange beads in it.Great part is that it lathers...yay.

The scent is heavenly.I love the mandarin orange scent.It has the true essence of citrus in it.

I apply it on wet face and massage gently.It lathers up beautifully,the beads dissolve too.Lovely experience seriously.After massaging for sometime,it has to be rinsed off like a face wash.It can be used daily as per directions,but I use it every other day.
Now,the best part.It does what it says.It reduces dullness and brightens up complexion.You can feel the difference after first use.It brings a radiance to face.Over a few days the dark, uneven spots are greatly reduced too.I can actually see the vitamin C working on my skin.

I love the way it has evened out my skin.That blotchy,dull look is gone for the most part.I never go out bare skin,BB cream or atleast compact powder is a must.But now I only put on my blush and go out.Thats how good it is.

It keeps face matte too.I don't suffer from oiliness a lot after using this.Maybe it reduces oil production.

BAD POINTS:

1)-A little pricey for a face wash.

2)-Can be drying for dry skin types.A moisturizer is a must.

3)-The radiance is not permanent If you stop using it.
