Pink lipstick are the fashion statement nowadays. Every one loves them and every girl can wear them. Not all shades of pink are for every one but if you  do find the right one, you are lucky. I am on quest of a good pink lipstick these days and this is my second blog post in the pink lippie series.

This lipstick has received so many complements that I thought I must try it.So, did I find the right pink this time read on to find…

well,I ordered the lipstick from Just4girls.pk in my previous haul,here.I wanted this lipstick really bad because the swatches online showed a beautiful pink color.Got it for PKR 520.

When I first applied the lipstick,I was really pleased.It has faint minty scent and a minty flavor.Mild tingling on your lips after application give a very refreshing feeling.

Application was smooth.The lipstick is creamy and easy to apply.It glides smoothly on lips.Color payoff is amazing.Such a rich pink.The glossy,opaque look is amazing.After using I totally get the concept of gloss and matte in same product.You see it gives a full opaque look like a matte lippie, but the finish is glossy.

The color you see in the swatch is how I saw it online,rose pink,but on using it I realized that it was a little sweet coral pink.The second photo shows the color more honestly.

Now,all you ladies know,it is easier to understand color in comparison.So,below is a swatch of Luscious buff pink,beauty UK in the buff and Rimmel Airy Fairy.

Note that Luscious buff pink is  a pretty rose pink,Beauty UK is more of a  pink with coral pink hint and Rimmel airy fairy is light pink with brown(dusty) undertone(almost a nude).[Review here]The photo below truely shows the color of beauty uk in the buff.

    You can see the Beauty UK pink is different from my favorite Luscious buff pink.

The shade in the buff,looks good on lips but it also highlights my uneven skin tone.It is a perfect color for fair to medium complexion, but not for tan complexion at all.

Also if you have an even complexion you can carry it well even with warm skin tone.This color is In-Vogue nowadays.

I wear it with a lip liner and a lip brush (this way my lip imperfections are not highlighted but smoothly glazed over.).Have to apply a little concealer,BB cream and blush-on to conceal unevenness of skin tone effectively.

Staying power is a good 3-4 hours without eating and drinking.

Bottom line is that even with all its drawbacks for me, I love it ^_^
