LUSCIOUS SPARKLING FACE SHIMMER IN FAIRY DUST

Asslamoallaikum and hi my lovelies,
Every girl loves dewy skin with a pretty glow.Well for us oilies the glow turns into a horrible greasy nightmare so we have to settle for matte foundations with satin finish.For some occasions when I feel the need of a little glamour I go for highlighters.Gold and Silver High lighters look so lovely when used sparingly and when they don't highlight your pores.Today I have a multipurpose product which when used judiciously adds a touch of glam and shine to the whole look.

So,this was my first experience with face shimmers.Being an oily I normally stay away from SHINY.But when I tried this one,I was like OMG thank  God I tried it.

The shimmer comes in powder form in a jar (weight=12g).Apart form top lid,It has a sifter lid to keep things clean.

The powder has a very beautiful peachy hue.On blending(as shown in swatch) it gives a very pretty peachy pink and silver shine.

The texture is SUPER soft which makes the blending easyyy even for novices like me. Application  was a lil tricky so a few words on methods for newbies.

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

Its wise to remove the whole seal on the sifter.Then turn the jar upside down with lid on.Now place the jar on a level table and using your buffing brush or loose powder brush,pick a small amount and blow very gently on the brush to ensure even distribution.Now apply on all the areas that should be highlighted.Middle of Forehead,nose bridge,cheek bones.Less is more so don't over do.

Overall I love it.The shimmer is a must in my makeup routine formal events in the evening.

Plus points are large quantity easy to apply,super pretty,doesn't highlight pores if used sparingly and great stay time (5 hours). Negatives are price(not very costly when you compare with benefit or Urban decay),messy(not if you are careful and master the art of application).

Lastly,I wanted to share with you Ashwariya's photo on Red carpet at Cannes Film Fest 2013 France.This lip color has caused a sensation.As for the rest of the look,ummm,since I don't want to be harsh,I will delicately slide past it.However,I do believe that the hair-do is the main culprit behind all the negative criticism Ash got for this one.So,in my opinion a side braid or even a lose knot at nape of neck would have complimented the look beautifully.Oh well,curse the hair stylist for ruining everything.

This one is definitely a very pretty shot.

I am really shocked to see girls talking about Ash's flabby or plump look.I mean come on people why are you discouraging something that is natural and every woman has to go through.She was pretty and still is,just in a different way now.There should be a limit to being superficial and then we complain that the world has taken on a materialistic turn.
