GARNIER BB CREAM-Miracle Skin Perfecter

Asslamo allaikum and hello all,

Today I will share my view on a BB cream keeping in view that its summer and one needs to keep a light hand on makeup.OK.Garnier BB cream has taken the beauty blogogsphere by storm.People love it for its affordablilty and easy availability,if for naught else.I was itching to get my hands on this one since the day it was launched.Garnier is a vegan braad(as I have come to know),so this BB cream was a total must have for me as I do not use products with animal ingredients anymore(halal status is doubtful).So was it the 8 in ONE miracle for me?To read about my experience just scroll down my sweeties.

The packaging is real cute and travel friendly.The flip open top makes the cream user friendly.
The consistency,however,does make the cream a little messy to use.Its  watery.The most thin BB cream I have come across.So much so that when you shake the tube you hear it sloshing inside.I loved this consistency at first because it hydrates the skin well and makes sure the cream SINKS IN.However,my views changed.

First of,you need to shake the cream every single time you use it.Reason:to mix the cream well because the product is too thin to stay put.Secondly, it just oozes out of the tube real fast.I always pour out more then I need(klutzy me).Lastly the pigmentation problem.Very sheer pigmentation.Actually, its more like tinted moisturizer and not BB cream.BB creams are thick and pigmentation is more like a foundation.It gives very sheer cover like barely there.Layering it up to get more pigmentation will end up in oiliness.So basically it is a TINTD MOITURIZER.Its better then your regular moisturizer, because it gives a glow and brightening effect, but can not replace foundation.

Ok,so we got that settled.Now the performance. Immediately after applying,it feels oily.After five minuts or so it settles in the skin,hydrates and blurs out imperfections(pores,uneven tone) .I have oily skin so I have to blot to achieve a finished look.

About the pores,its not a miracle worker.I mean it can do something for small pores, but girls with post-acne open pores will be disappointed.It does soften the look somewhat.

It keeps me shine free for an hour and then I have to blot blot blot.I have very very oily skin so its forgiveable. Setting it with a mattifying powder like Rimmel Stay matte powder improves the performance.WEAR TIME is 3-4 hours.(By wear time I mean the efficacy of the cream.The time for which it can prevent that patchy look when makeup is fading in an ugly mess). 

[UPDATE:Wear time is reduced to 2 hours in Monson(july August), because of all the humidity and heat]

It doesn't break me out.

Overall,I like this cream.Its better then going bare skin.With a concealer and setting powder you can get a glowy complexion.However,be prepared for frequent touch ups.The cream has a travel friendly packaging so that wont be a problem.Girls with problematic skin don't expect too much,as it doesn't give good coverage and may leave skin oily too.

RECOMMENDED:

For dry,and combination skin.If you want glow in your complexion without wearing too much makeup.
