St IVES NATURALLY CLEAR APRICOT SCRUB BLEMISH CONTROL

I love St Ives Apricot Scrub. It has been my HG scrub ever since I started using a scrub.St Ives

has now upgraded their scrub's packaging this year(well, could have been earlier, but I noticed it

this year). They have introduced many variants of this scrub.Sensitive,Fresh Skin,,Renew and

Firm and Naturally Clear Blemish and blackhead  Control( for acne prone skin). Here is the

St IVES NATURALLY CLEAR APRICOT SCRUB BLEMISH CONTROL -Scrub

The scrub is just like Invigorating Apricot Scrub In Fresh Skin.It has the same fragrance even.

This scrub comes in a big, squeezable tube with more than enough product amount in PKR 350.

The scrub has a creamy texture with tiny walnut shell granules to give scrubbing action. On

application the scrub goes on smoothly and I find the scrubbing a little fun too.Just add some

water, when you feel that the scrub is drying out and keep on scrubbing  for a good five

minutes(less if you do it daily).

The best thing about this scrub is the after-use clean feeling.Even the pores are minimized a

little. As it contains salicylic acid, which has a natural effect of increasing cell turnover,it

improves removal of blackheads and the  dead cell layer, when used twice or thrice a week.

Also the after-scrub oiliness on face was a lot less with this scrub.Again due to salicylic acid

which reduces oil production. After using this scrub I found it easier to remove blackheads

which is normally very tough for me.I love this scrub. Its a perfect scrub for oily skin with big

pores.

St ives do not test on animals and they do not use animal ingredients. So,you can use them

with  ease of mind.

RECOMMENDATION:

Girls with oily,Acne prone skin should definitely go for this one.Girls with dry skin!!!,please

stay away from this,as it has Salicylic acid and  can cause redness and dryness on face.

    1. You r always welcome dear. Umm exfoliation works wonders for skin if done gently.Over scrubbing or energetic rubbing will only damage your skin.I would say that using this scrub 3 times per week is just perfect.Every alternate day and then Skipping two days together.Yes you can use it two days in a row some days but be gentle and scrub for five minutes.

  5. This scrub works great for black heads and mild acne. However,If you have moderate to severe Acne(pustules, papules, black white heads affecting forhead, cheeks and chin) I suggest you use St ives tea tree scrub. Also do take your time to read my posts(link below)on treatment of acne.I sincerely hope it helps you and your acne gets cured.
